About us

National Cargo Bureau

The IMSBC e-learning course was developed by the National Cargo Bureau, based in New York, USA. NCB acquired the Exis Group of companies, including Exis Technologies in May 2018. For over a decade NCB and Exis have been working together in containerised dangerous cargo management, most recently in the development of Hazcheck Inspections, a new web-supported container cargo inspection tool.

The National Cargo Bureau is a not-for-profit marine surveying organization charged with assisting the U.S. Coast Guard with carrying out the provisions of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS).
